Naming Tradition in Asian Culturees
There are many cultures born in every country. One of the most unique is the naming traditions. This traditions mostly is used in naming a children. The culture began with the President of America, Bill Clinton when he travelled to South Korea. Bill Clinton visited President Kim Young Sam, he repeatedly referred to the Korean president’s wife as Mrs. Kim. President Clinton’s advisers assumed that Koreans have the same naming traditions as the Japanese. In addition to Koreans, other Asian husbands and wives who do not share the same surnames include Combodians, Chinese, Hmong, and Vietnamese. But its different from Mexico. When a woman marries, she keeps her maiden name and adds her husband’s name after the word de.
And there are also other countries that have naming
taditions. One of them is Indonesia. Indonesia also have naming traditions in
some region. Every region have differences about this culture. For example:
Batak’s Cuulture, has a special name in their family. Any children born in the
Batak’s Family behind his named will be named “siregar”. (Of) Rohmah Siregar.
In every countries we knew that naming traditions is more important
for their country. But we must knew first the meaning of that cultures.
